Job description:
As a IT Technician flexibility is an asset, as your day-to-day endeavors will consist of service calls, full installations, and everything in between. Your experience with a variety of desktop and network situations will be used for site evaluation, installing and troubleshooting. The needs of our customers are sometimes unpredictable. Your willingness to work whenever and wherever you are needed will be a valued asset. All work must be completed per industry standards, in the prescribed amount of time, and in a safe manner.
IT Technicians perform general desktop support and network tasks, troubleshoot and repair computer systems and peripheral equipment for our client base. They are responsible for supporting several clients requiring a significant amount of driving.
All of our clients are located within the tri-county “Tampa Bay” metropolitan area (Pinellas, Hillsborough & Pasco).

Candidate Qualifications:
- MCSE preferred
- Expert in running structured cabling absolutely required
- Strong Bench Skills required
- Proficiency with Disk Imaging
- A+ Certification preferred
- 4+ years experience REQUIRED; combination of education and experience acceptable.
- Proven ability to connect, test, trouble shoot and service PCs and networks.
- Service client networks, and networking equipment on-site
- Document work performed using online trouble ticket tool
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and networking problems impacting clients
- Build and install servers, configures Operating Systems, and conducts software loads
- Manage servers, including maintaining current status of software, and applying security, hot fixes and system patches
- Ability and willingness to travel as needed.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Must have your own car and valid driver's license to travel between client locations
- Intermediate MS Office computer skills, including Word, Excel and Outlook
Requirements:

- Desktop Systems: Windows 2000-Windows 7
- MS Office Suite of Products
- Hardware Troubleshooting
- Router Experience (Linksys, Netgear, SMC,Cisco)
- Disc Imaging Tools
- Toning, testing and terminating low voltage structured cabling
- Microsoft 2000 Server
- Microsoft 2003 Server (complete implementation)
- Microsoft 2003 Exchange Server (troubleshooting)
- Microsoft IIS
- DNS
- RAID Experience
- All aspects of network troubleshooting
- Active Directory experience
- Imaging
- PDA/Wireless Handheld configuration & troubleshooting
- Field Technician experience an advantage
